Service & Philanthropy
The Alpha Phi Foundation is the proud philanthropic partner of Alpha Phi International Fraternity, with a mission of “advancing women’s lives through the power of philanthropy”. Alpha Phi officially adopted Women’s Heart Health as a priority in 1946, which became the Foundation’s philanthropic priority upon its founding in 1956.
Alpha Phis are committed to benefitting our philanthropy the Alpha Phi Foundation, which supports women’s heart health. Heart Disease is the number one killer of women, more than all forms of cancer combined. Alpha Phi helps this cause in many ways, most importantly through the Heart to Heart grant, a $100,000 contribution given by the Alpha Phi Foundation to the organization(s) that are doing the most innovative research in improving women’s heart health.

Community Service
Throughout the year, the women of Alpha Phi volunteer in various acts of community service in the Moscow Community. Not only is volunteering an amazing way to give back, it helps our women to become leaders within our community and build relationships to better our future. Friday Night Phi'ver
In the spring semester during University of Idaho Mom's Weekend, we hold an event called "Friday Night Phi'ver" where we flashback to the 70's & 80's to get our groove on with our mommas! The event is open to the public and all proceeds to go the Alpha Phi Foundation. It is such a fun time to dress up, dance, and raise some money!
Phi Ball
Phi Ball is our annual flag football tournament that occurs during the fall semester. Every chapter from our Greek community is welcome to create a team and play to win a basket of goodies and a trophy. Once you have created a team of 8, you can sign up to participate in the event. All proceeds go to The Alpha Phi Foundation in support of Women's Heart Health!
Take It To Heart Week
This is a week full of fun and different events that other Greek chapters can participate in. There are three days of activities and events that raise money and awareness for the Alpha Phi Foundation and women's heart health!
